Benefits of membership
Members of The Basement Information Centre gain the following benefits: An opportunity
to liaise with other bodies having an interest in design and
construction of basements, and for setting and maintaining
standards. Members' products, materials and services are included on lists supplied in response to enquiries received by The Basement Information Centre. Access to leads from basement enquiries, creating business opportunities. Attention drawn to changes in UK and European standards related to basement design and construction. |

Membership
Membership of the Basement Information Centre is open to any corporate body, institution, association, company, partnership or individual that provides a product or service for basement design or construction.
Administration
The Basement Development Group is run as an independent organisation that is steered by its members. The Director undertakes the day-to-day administrative work with additional administrative support. Other services are bought in as required.

Subscriptions
The basic subscription is used to cover general administration costs and project costs as agreed by the Centre. Costs for any special project over and above the basic levy are by negotiation and agreement from individual members. There is no requirement to support all or any special projects.
TBIC is run on a non-profit basis. Any subscription money or other income not expended in one calendar year will be carried forward into the following year.
